Slaves for (y)our entertainment

Bill & Tom Kaulitz for PETA

Celebrities endorsing products/brands (a la Brad pitt in his hundreds of Japanese commercials) are rarely clever, useful, smart or for a good cause. However I fully approve of this latest PETA campaign speaking up against the use of animal shows in the circus industry. The tagline “Slaves for the Entertainment Industry” and using two celebrities as illustrative examples is brilliant. Animals live their whole lives like that. Kudos to Bill and Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel for bringing aawreness to the issue by letting themselves get covered in dirt, fake (albeit real looking) bruises and blood, get chained up and locked into a small cage.
